This delicious dessert is like an instant apple pie! Crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside these caramelized apples are perfect to pair with Leo Leo's Sea Salt Caramel Gelato. Try topping it off with granola of your choice for some crunch!
Ingredients:
2 tbsp of unsalted butter
2 granny smith apples, peeled and sliced
1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1/4 cup of maple syrup
1 tbsp of brown sugar
1 container of Leo Leo Sea Salt Caramel Gelato

Directions:
Step 1: Preheat a medium-sized skillet and melt butter over medium heat.
Step 2: Add apples and saute for 6-8 minutes or until slightly browned.
Step 3: Add sugar, vanilla and cinnamon and stir for one minute.
Step 4: Pour in syrup while stirring to keep from burning. Cook for 2 more minutes.
Step 5: Place apples and remaining sauce over the gelato and enjoy!
