Tea farmer Yoshiaki Hattori uses a traditional stone-mill to grind his matcha, resulting in an ultra-fine powder with a creamy texture.
Cafe Matcha is made from leaves from the 1st and 2nd spring harvests. This combines the vibrant, fine flavors of the 1st harvest with the more robust character of the 2nd harvest.
Grassy and softly nutty, with an earthy undertone. Light umami. Bittersweet, with a fragrant sweet aftertaste.

This comes in a 50g bag. We suggest a tea tin or other container to store your matcha! You can store your matcha in the compostable packaging we give you, just keep it in a cool, dark, dry place. Rinse the packaging to get all of that beautiful matcha that sticks to the bag when you are running out, and enjoy one final bowl before reorder! =)
