Strawberry Guava (Psidium cattleyanum) is a tropical fruit that can be eaten as whole fruit, or used in jams, jellies and excellent for second fermentation when making kombucha. A bit sweet and tart, small red fruits make a great snack. Seeds and skin are edible and may have health benefits, including antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial in addition to a high amount of Vitamin C. The darker the fruit the sweeter.  Refrigeration is recommended as these do have a shorter shelf life.
